The Humanity of Litter

Litter is usually something people don’t pay much attention to in our highly consumerist society.  Hong Kong is a relatively clean city in terms of litter given its population density and therefore it is the small solitary or groups of items that seem to draw my attention more than anything else. These pieces of litter seem to have a humanity to them. They seem to be hanging on to life by trying blend into their surroundings or are they reflecting how people can become anonymous and discarded in a consumerist society.
